Four Decades, One Family
Pools R Us didn’t start as a business plan. It started the way most good Arizona stories do — with family, hard work, and a stubborn belief that desert living should come with water in the backyard. More than forty years and 840+ backyards later, we’re still family-owned, still answering our own phones, and still building every pool like it’s going in behind our own house.
Today we build across Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Kingman, Laughlin, and the river communities — the towns where summer is measured in triple digits and a backyard either works for you or sits empty. Ours work.
Meet the Owners

Greg Tribble
I'm Greg Tribble, owner and operator of Pools R Us. I've called Las Vegas home since I was two, and for over 40 years I've watched this desert city grow, thrive, and inspire me. Pools R Us was born from that inspiration — because for me, building pools isn't just about construction, it's about creating spaces where families can laugh, celebrate, and reconnect. Every project is my way of giving back to the city that shaped me. When I see kids playing, friends gathering, or families making memories around a pool, I know I've done something meaningful. This isn't just my job — it's my passion, and each pool I build is part of my legacy.

Matt Wanstreet
I'm Matt Wanstreet, owner and designer at Pools R Us. With 30+ years in business leadership — from helping grow Chipotle nationwide to serving as President of Sport Clips Haircuts — I've built my career on growth and service. After semi-retiring, I chose to follow my true passion — pools, design, and construction — by joining forces with my mentor and friend, Greg. Now rooted in Arizona, I've turned my passion for pools and design into helping families create the backyards they've always dreamed of. Nothing is more fulfilling than seeing those visions come to life while also spending more time with the family I love.
The Way We Work
Every project starts the same way: we listen. Then we build your backyard in photorealistic 3D — every tile, every shadow, every water feature — so you can walk through it, change your mind, and fall in love with it before a single shovel hits the dirt. What you approve is what we build. No surprises, no allowance games.
- The owner stays involved — homeowners mention his personal check-ins in their reviews, because they actually happen
- The schedule means something — 8–12 weeks, and more than one review says we finished ahead of it
- One team, start to finish — design, engineering, permits, HOA paperwork, construction, and landscaping under one roof
- We answer the phone — during the build and after it. A pool is a relationship, not a transaction
The Names You’ll Hear
Read our Google reviews and you’ll notice something unusual: homeowners thank people by name. Clay, who turns rough ideas into 3D designs people can’t stop showing their neighbors. Ben, who walks families through every decision without ever making it feel like a sales pitch. Greg, Luis, and the crews — the same faces on your project from dirt to first swim, described in review after review as professional, kind, and a pleasure to work with.
That’s not something we wrote about ourselves. That’s what our clients wrote about us.
"Our technician, Luis, along with every single employee who came out during construction, was professional, kind, and a pleasure to work with… I also really appreciated the periodic check-ins from the owner."
— Lucas Gutierrez, Verified Google ReviewWhat We Believe
- Show up when you said you would. Half of this industry’s bad reputation is scheduling. We keep ours.
- Build it once, build it right. Desert soil, monsoon winds, and 115° summers punish shortcuts. We don’t take them.
- The backyard is the point. Not just the pool — the shade, the turf, the kitchen, the fire, the whole life that happens around the water.
- Licensed, bonded, insured. AZ ROC 360721, BBB A+ rated — and proud of both.
